About

Having two parents who are architects, as well as being born and raised in Amsterdam, shaped my vision of as a kid. I found myself drawn by the structure of things and the way in which they are organised in space. I did the International Baccalaureate at The International School of Amsterdam. Here, I painted under Sian Lysaght and Stephen York.  As soon as I finished the IB, I moved to London to study Fine Art at the The Art Academy London. Here, I continued my artistic development studying under artists such as Carl Randall, James Bland, Susanne du Toit and Tai Shan Schierenberg. In addition to this study, I decided to do a BA in Philosophy at Saint Mary’s University, in hope that it would add a greater philosophical debt to my work.
